Happy Holidays! My Christmas was filled with family, relaxing, and tons of tasty treats. I had to share a few pics from our fam’s outing to the Kauffman Center last Friday to taking in a viewing of The Nutcracker. While the ballet was beautiful and quite impressive, the center itself was remarkable. The sleek lines of the clean glass and steel architecture was amazing. The sun was pouring through the Brandmeyer Great Hall, highlighting the impressive view of downtown Kansas City. And the theatre itself was just as interesting, showcasing modern inspiration throughout. After the show, we headed down to Pierpont’s in Union Station for a cocktail and fresh oysters before trekking down to the Plaza to take in the lights and some pasta. It was a lovely day and night that definitely put us all in the holiday spirit.
